I continue to rebuild from the HCU, the longer this goes the more I hear from others that there has not been a single “recovery” from this HCU marker and you can either let it die or focus on other traffic measures.
My additions of Flickify videos for high-value content are growing my site’s income from the video side and nearly accounting for 33% of all ad earnings. Traffic on other search engines is still growing so this shows me people value the content just Google is punishing everyone due to their inability to grow.
I continue to add new content to the site, as this will be the only path forward regardless over time as the time of 30 post sites has long eclipsed due to having to prove to visitors and search engines that you should be trusted and present content readers stay for.
I by no means am done blogging but this does highly make me suspect the old mantra from non-SEOs of “find long-tailed keywords” and just sling at whatever seems winnable approach from Income School just isn’t viable anymore.
Instead, the newer approach is angling toward The Authority Site System and Affiliate Lab.
Content Production For NSP1 In May 2024
This month I created a decent amount of content again (26 posts) to help finish off some categories and to provide some better info to specific subjects. This content as the growth above shows brought in 345 pageviews this month for that new content which is nice to maybe really kickstart me forward.
My old idea was to push with Koala to generate “best” and “review” content to grow the affiliate income. But until I really fix the ranking and traffic problems with the main site this has to be pushed back to the side, the groundwork doesn’t feel solid so it needs repair first.
Income For NSP1 In May 2024
This month’s income was finally up versus last month. Overall, Mays’s income was up from last months $38.77 to this month being $78.60, nearly doubling the income as last month!
Analytics For NSP1 In May 2024
This month I saw a solid upstroke again (33%) after all the noise. I am hoping that in the coming months continue to regrow and get back to my previous positions!
I am still down near 80-85% since the last HCU, it’s time to re-adapt and start growing!

The Google Search Console numbers have been terminal after the HCU. I have no current answers for you and I am still looking at everything and trying to figure out what isn’t working or if it’s just due to multiple back-to-back Google updates.

Ezoic NicheIQ Pagebooster Results For NSP1 In May 2024
I have been using Ezoic’s NicheIQ and PageBooster tools to help me see what Google has ranked well and found valuable and where I am taking hits to overall traffic volume.
I will continue adding more content NicheIQ suggested that I should be able to rank while having high volume.
As you can see, most of the content is still stable as the trending down is still a zero change. After all the issues from the HCU to caching I may be hitting my actual floor and growth is what may come later in 2024.
I am continuing to check out those posts and pages and specifically look at them versus the top 10 in the SERP currently to understand where I may be lacking.
Amazon Performance For NSP1 In May 2024
As I have stated before, traffic plummeting demolished all the income potential from Amazon or other affiliates and until I can get traffic moving upward again I can’t worry too much about monetization.
Though my 28% conversion rate is pretty amazing I would rather convert lower percent but increase ordered items.
I was using Lasso for the non-Amazon content, but have canceled since it is a cost that can’t be paid when traffic doesn’t dictate getting that same value out of a huge monthly cost.

As traffic begins to grow the Ezoic income from the site is starting to grow and I am hoping to once again start moving towards a $100 month after the dramatic losses over time.

My income growth using the Humix video setup has been growing through other peoples traffic. Many of my recent video views have come from other peoples use with 75% of the video income coming from [ My Shared ] content to other Ezoic Humix sites.
I have started to get some better performance after using the new Flickify the results are up some now to $22.11 from video ads income doubling from last month.
This will hopefully begin to grow once more as I take time to make videos for my content, either from regular video or the new and improved Flickify tool, a fantastic AI tool to convert your posts into consumable video content!
